Suicide Island Volume 2 [TP]

If a suicide attempt survivor can barely live in modern Japan, how would one fare alone on the remote Suicide Island? A celebrated manga series by Kouji Mori that evokes both Lord of the Flies and Battle Royale! A mentally ill man, Sei, is transported by the Japanese government to a mysterious, remote island after several failed suicide attempts. On “Suicide Island,” Sei must learn how to survive with a group of fellow suicidal citizens—or figure out how to die! In this volume, Sei finds the courage to leave the main group and test out his newly-made bow and arrows, tracking and hunting deer for the first time in his young life! This series is created, written, and drawn by mangaka Kouji Mori (Holyland, Berserk Volume 42), with translations by Kumar Sivasubramanian (I Am a Hero, Blade of the Immortal) and lettering by Eisner Award-nominated Steve Dutro (The Fifth Beatle, Eden: It’s an Endless World!). For mature audiences.
