Every page of the groundbreaking indie-sensation comic series, scanned from Patrick Horvath’s original paintings and presented like never before in one magnificent collection! In fall 2023, Patrick Horvath and IDW Publishing released the first issue of Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees into the world. With its unique blend of beautiful watercolor art and shocking subject matter, it instantly lit the comic-book-reading world on fire and is one of the most popular original comic series of the last decade. Readers were captivated by the story of anthropomorphic serial-killer bear Samantha Strong and couldn’t spend enough time in the beautifully rendered town of Woodbrook. This glorious collection features every single page from the first series and the 10-page short story "Praludium," all presented for the very first time exactly as Horvath painted them. Full size. No digital adjustments. Experience the full force of the art that became this decade’s biggest comics sensation. Also included are six clear overlay pages that showcase patch panels, enabling you to see the original art and the final art as it was published!
