The end of everyone was just the beginning… Minetaro Mochizuki’s classic 90s head-trip disaster manga is now in print! A DESPERATE SEARCH FOR MEDICINE LEADS STRAIGHT INTO THE HEART OF MADNESSLost in a ghost town, Ako and Teru form a shaky alliance with two soldiers who defected from their squad amidst the chaos: Nimura, the loose cannon in charge of the AWOL crew, and Iwata, their helicopter pilot. But when Teru falls severely ill, it’s up to Ako to embark on a days-long hike with Nimura to find the medicine that might save Teru’s life. Just before they reach their destination, however, the two encounter a young man with surgical scars covering his scalp. Strangely unable to feel pain, he mutters two cryptic words he claims explain the catastrophe that’s devastated Japan: dragon head. But before they can dig deeper, a gang of murderous rioters emerges from the shadows…PRAISE FOR DRAGON HEAD “Dragon Head is essential reading for horror fans. It’s a slow burn that forgoes shock value for psychological depth and atmosphere…”—Behind the Manga“Gritty, harrowing and blood-soaked, [Dragon Head] is a manga that should instantly appeal to fans of Battle Royale.”—IGN“An experience, not a story. […] Powerfully scary and creepy.”—Anime News Network
